Bayer CropScience maintains an Australian organization staffed with skilled and professional people who are in regular contact with our customers. These customers include farmer, distributors, (i.e. cooperatives, wholesalers or retailers), consultants or governmental bodies.

The company's goal is to fully understand the individual customer's needs and to provide best possible product and service solutions. Sharing the necessary knowhow for optimal application of the company’s products complements this.

Bayer CropScience knows that its agricultural products and technical expertise are an essential part of the complex farm management process aiming to combine economically successful farming operations with sound environmental practices.

Farmers not only need to optimize their use of crop protection products but also to decide on seeds, fertilizers, irrigation, machinery and land options. Fluctuations in the market prices for their produce and uncertainties due to climatic conditions during growing season also play a major role in farming.

Bayer CropScience works to support the rural community in Australia, through sponsorship and our GIVE programs.  Out activities include sponsoring Nuffield Scholars and Agriventure.   Through our GIVE program we have also recently support the Cancer Council and the Emerald Valley cotton growers.  Employees, through GIVE are also able to contribute the charities of their choice.  All contributions up to 1000 are matched by Bayer.
