Supply Chain Management

The supply chain is a complex process, covering all stages from the manufacture of chemicals for agricultural and non-agricultural products to their delivery to the customer. Each manufacturing process differs depending on the active ingredient, with raw materials, semi-finished goods and end products undergoing continual, stringent quality checks to ensure that the final product is legally compliant and fulfills users' expectations.

Once synthesis of the active ingredient is complete, formulation and packaging is carried out on site or at one of the company’s formulation plants close to the markets. After the products have been correctly packaged and labelled, they are warehoused, transported and distributed to wholesalers or end-users. Demand fluctuations resulting from different growing seasons and pest outbreaks combined with disparate national labeling requirements necessitate a complex logistics system, supported by state-of-the-art information technology.

Supply chain management has the task of making the impossible possible. They have to minimize costs associated with storage and delivery and at the same time maximize product availability and flexibility to achieve customer satisfaction in an economical way.
